Abstract

INCREASING STUDENTS' LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS ABOUT CALCULATING THE VOLUME OF TRIANGLE PRISMS AND CIRCLE TUBE USING THE THINK PAIR SHARE TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL Abstract. This study aims to determine the Cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share type can increase the activity and learning achievement of students in the mathematics subject of calculating the volume of triangular prisms and circular tubes in Class VI B SD Negeri Kertamaya, South Bogor District, Bogor City Semester 1 of the 2018 Academic Year/ 2019. To define the process of increasing activity and learning achievement of students in Mathematics of calculating the volume of triangular prisms and circular tubes after applying the Type Think Pair Share Cooperative learning model in Class VI B SD Negeri Kertamaya, South Bogor District, Bogor City Semester 1 of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. To measure the magnitude of the increase in activity and learning achievement of students in mathematics lessons about calculating the volume of triangular prisms and circular tubes after using the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share in Class VI B SD Negeri Kertamaya, South Bogor District, Bogor City Semester 1 of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. The results of this study indicate that using the Cooperative learning model of the Think Pair Share type can be a fun variation of learning for students, so it is proven to increase the activity and learning achievement of students in Class VI B SD Negeri Kertamaya, South Bogor District, Bogor City. Before using the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share, activities and learning achievement of students only reached an average value of 64.50 then; there was an increase after using the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share to 73.25 in cycle 1 and 81.37 in cycle 2 From the description above, the researcher concludes that the use of the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share is fun so that there is an increase in the activity and learning achievement of students. Therefore the researchers suggest the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share is disseminated and used as an alternative to learning mathematics in schools within the Bogor City Education Office

Abstract

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND SELF EFFICACY WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB).This study aims to examine the correlation between transformational leadership and self-efficacy with OCB. The research was conducted at the Ciomas Korwil Private Vocational School in September 2020. The study population was 191 teachers and the sample size was 130 teachers using proportional random sampling. Collecting data for each variable studied using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis technique uses partial correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between transformational leadership and OCB (correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.551 and determination coefficient r2y1 = 0.134), there was a positive relationship between self-efficacy  and  OCB  (correlation  coefficient  ry2 =  0.284  and  coefficient  of determination r2y2 = 0.080) and there was a positive relationship. and very significant between transformational leadership and self-efficacy together with OCB (correlation coefficient ry12 = 0.441 and coefficient of determination r2y12= 0.194). Thus, it can be concluded that OCB can be improved through transformational leadership and self-efficacy both partially and collectively.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF LEARNING INTEREST AND STUDENT LEARNING DISCIPLINES ON MATHEMATICS LEARNING RESULTSThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of interest in learning (X1) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y), read the impact of student learning discipline (X2) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y), and investigate the effect of learning interest (X1) and learning discipline (X2) together on mathematics learning outcomes (Y). The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto survey strategy. The sample size was 42 respondents selected by proportional random sampling technique from students of SD Negeri Ciseureuh and SD Negeri Loji Batulawang cluster, Cipanas sub-district, Cianjur district. This research will be implemented in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The instrument validity test uses the Person Product Moment correlation formula, and the reliability test uses the Cronbach Alpha formula. Test the data analysis requirements using normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed a positive and very significant relationship with a moderate strength of the relationship (r = 0.750 p 0.01) between the X1 variable and the Y variable. There was a positive and very significant relationship with a moderate relationship strength (r = 0.643 p 0 0.01) between variables X2 and variable Y. There is a positive and very significant relationship with moderate strength (r = 0.805 p 0.01) between variables X1 and X2 together with variable Y

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION EVALUATION OF THE MADRASAH EXAM PROGRAM IN CIPANAS DISTRICT USING DISCREPANCY EVALUATION MODELThe research is to evaluate the madrasah final test program for the madrasah ibtidaiyah learner (MI) in the Cipanas sub-district. The government policy by eliminating the national exam (UN) can be replaced by arranging the madrassah/school exams that are returned to each school unit. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using discrepancy models. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Several steps taken in data analysis include data collection, data reduction, display data, and verification. The study is trying to answer how implementation evaluations of madrasah exam programs in the Cipanas sub-district and Cianjur Regency. Researchers found that (1) The program design, composed by MI Assaidiyyah, MI Mifathul Falah, and MI Futuuhiyah, has been effectively prepared for the 2021/2022 madrasah's exam; (2) The complete application of the madrasah's exam program has been by the standard set by the government in SK Dirjen Pendis No. 455 the year 2022; (3) The evaluation process by MI Assaidiyyah, Miftahul Falah and MI Futuuhiyah shows a rather accurate data; (4) The madrasah's exam program performed in 2021/2022 matched and achieved the desired and foreordained goal; (5) Students' general achievement can be achieved which has been appointed.

Abstract

The teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) becomes an important factor in the teaching process at school. Unfortunately, based on the preliminary survey at several Junior High-School in Bogor, it had been found that many teachers had a low level of OCB. Also, it had been found that teachers had low levels of job satisfaction and ineffective interpersonal communication. Based on that issues, we formulated the objectives of this research to improve the teachers’ OCB through developing job satisfaction and interpersonal communication. The objectives of improving teachers’ OCB will become an effective effort to improve the teaching process in the classroom and further will improve the quality of education. This research was carried out on 266 teachers from 20 Junior High-Schools, in Bogor. This research used a quantitative method and used the correlational technique to assess the degree of relationship among those variables. The findings of this research can be summarized that there is a positive and significant correlation: between job satisfaction with OCB (r = 0.605, p0.01), between interpersonal communication with OCB (r = 0.604, p0.01)and between job satisfaction and interpersonal communication simultaneously with OCB (r = 0.613, p0.01). Based on those findings, it can be concluded that job satisfaction, as well as interpersonal communication, have the strength to predict teachers’ OCB. These findings supported the recommendations to improve OCB by developing teachers’ job satisfaction and interpersonal communication.

Abstract

INCREASING TEACHER PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE THROUGH STRENGTHENING SELF-EFFICACY AND TEACHER PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT (RESEARCH ON PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN SOUTH BOGOR DISTRICT, BOGOR CITY USING CORRELATION ANALYSIS AND THE SITOREM METHOD)This study aims to find efforts to improve teacher performance by strengthening the variables that are related to This study aims, in general, to improve the professional competence of teachers in public elementary schools teachers in South Bogor District, Bogor City, through efforts to develop the variables of self-efficacy and professional commitment, namely by identifying the strengths of the relationship between these variables. The population in this study was 398 civil servant teachers from 38 public elementary schools in South Bogor District, Bogor City. The sampling technique used in this research is multistage proportional random sampling, which is taking a random sample of the population proportionately. Determination of the proportion of the study population, namely teachers in public elementary schools by 43% from 398 teachers to 170 teachers (rounding), the proportion in each public elementary school in South Bogor District, Bogor City, is the same as the initial distribution, determining the number of samples using the Slovin formula so that 120 are obtained, people. Data were collected using questionnaires and written tests (for professional competency improvement variables) which had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study concluded: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and the professional competence of teachers. The correlation value ry1 is 0.658, with the strength of the relationship in the category of strong. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between professional commitment and teacher professional competence; the ry2 correlation value is 0.675 with strong criteria. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and professional commitment together with the teacher's professional competence. The correlation value ry12 is 0.756, which means that the relationship is strong

Abstract

THE STRENGTHENING VISIONARY LEADERSHIP AND JOB SATISFACTORY TO IMPROVE ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOURAbstract. The purpose of this study was to empirically determine the improvement of Organizational citizenship behaviour. Research respondents were permanent teachers at private elementary school in Bogor city. The number of samples were 121 teachers who were established by using proportional random sampling technique. The method used was the correlational method. Hypotheses testing was carried out by using parametric statistical analysis in the form of linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, and partial analysis where a significance level of α = 0,01 and α = 0,05. The research came up with three conclusions. Firstly, there was a very significant positive relationship between the visionary leadership and Organizational citizenship behaviour where the correlation coefficient of ry1 =0.764. Secondly, there was a very significant positive relationship between job satisfactory and Organizational citizenship behaviour, where the correlation coefficient of ry2 =0.779. Thirdly, there was a very significant positive relationship between the visionary leadership and job satisfactory together with the organizational citizenship behaviour, where the correlation coefficient of ry.12 = 0.764. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Organizational citizenship behaviour can be enhanced by strengthening the visionary leadership and job satisfactory. Results of the SITOREM analysis indicated that several priority indicators need to be improved, such as work characteristics, colleagues, formulate the vision, future vision, persistent, and altruism. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that Organizational citizenship behaviour can be enhanced by strengthening the visionary leadership and job satisfactory..

ANALYSIS OF DEEP DIFFERENTIATE LEARNING APPLICATION IMPLEMENTATION OF INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM IN MATHEMATICS LEARNING AT SDN 1 IMBANAGARA RAYAThe current mathematics curriculum is basically (in many countries) aligned with the expectations outlined in the United States of America National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Standards curriculum, which is a very influential organization of the mathematics education profession in the United States, which since the 1980s has called for a complete overhaul of the practice of learning mathematics in many countries, including in the United States itself, which among other things encourages the method of learning mathematics to shift from teacher-centered Learning to student-centered Learning and change students who previously are passive learners (passive learners) become students are active learners (active learners) NCTM (Council, 1989), (Ferini-Mundy Martin, 2000). Education is a way to change the fate of a lagging nation into a developed nation. A developed nation begins with advanced education. One way of Learning that is student-centered is to apply different Learning. Differentiated Learning is a form of effort in a series of Learning that pays attention to the needs of students in terms of learning readiness, student learning profiles, interests, and talents. The research design is a qualitative descriptive research design that is directed to analyze the application of differentiation learning by mathematics teachers. Who uses thematic Learning in their schools.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMON ASEAN TOURISM CURRICULUM AT SMK NEGERI 3 MALANGTourism Vocational School is one of the concepts in vocational education, where students are taught the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed by the Tourism Industry at both national and international levels. For example, a school that applies the concept of a tourism vocational school is SMK Negeri 3 Malang, which integrates two curricula consisting of the 2013 curriculum and the CATC. This study aims to examine and describe the uniqueness of the processes and stages in school management at SMK Negeri 3 Malang, which is located in Malang-East Java, in developing CATC at the SMK level. The school management study included the stages of planning, organizing, directing, and implementing, as well as controlling. This study uses a qualitative method, with the researcher as the instrument. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Based on the existing data and information, the results were obtained, and it can be concluded that a good and structured process of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling is the main supporting factor in developing the curriculum for school operational units at SMK Negeri 3 Malang. To be able to achieve the objectives as stated in the curriculum of the school's operational unit, detailed planning, organization according to needs, direction, and implementation in accordance with programs that have been prepared and planned, as well as intensive control on a regular basis with instruments that are prepared objectively and measurably is needed.
